ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction directing the first respondent to dispose of the complaint dated 29.08.2025 lodged by the petitioner to cancel the settlement deed vide Document No.218 of 2023 dated 13.02.2023 registered at Sub Registrar office at Valathi, Villupuram District.

2. The petitioner being the mother of the second respondent, lodged a complaint dated 29.08.2025 as against the second respondent under Section 23(1) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 and it is pending for enquiry.

3. In view of the above, the Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the second respondent and conduct enquiry after giving opportunity of hearing to both parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
