This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records from the file of the 1st respondent in Mu.Mu.No.6849/98 dated 22.05.2002 in confirming his order in Na.Ka.No.6849/98/MC23 dated 11.05.2001, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to grant one year increment with cumulative effect which was stopped subsequent the order of the 1st respondent dated 22.05.2002.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has retired from service and therefore, the matter has become https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
infructuous and an endorsement to that effect has also been made.
3. In view of the above endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
