Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2025 and to pay the Petitioner his five (5) years retained benefits under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme - 2000 (VRS2000) in terms of Annexure-I, Clauses 5 and 6, together with all benefits admissible under Regulation 15(1) of the Indian Overseas Bank Officers' Service Regulations (OSR) as claimed in the Petitioner's VRS2000 application dated 15.12.2000 within a stipulated time to the petitioner considering the petitioner's age of 75 years.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 2/7
26.03.2025, seeking to pay the petitioner's five years retained benefits under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme- 2000, in terms of Annexure-I, Clauses 5 and 6, together with all benefits admissible under Regulation 15(1) of the Indian Overseas Bank Officers' Service Regulations, as claimed in the petitioner's application dated 15.12.2000.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
