ORDER
This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025 by disbursing the Provident Fund benefits of Late Mr.E.Gnanaprakasam to the petitioner.
2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband entered service as Water Works Overseer and permitted to retire on 30.06.2010 on condition basis, in view of a charge memo dated 28.06.2010, alleging audit irregularities. Thereafter, the disciplinary proceedings were concluded, exonerating the petitioner's husband from all charges. Therefore, he made representations including writ petitions before this Court, seeking to release his pension and retirement dues. Pursuant to the filing of such writ petitions, pension and gratuity were belatedly sanction to the petitioner's husband in the month of March 2022, but failed to pay the provident fund benefits. In this circumstances, the petitioner's husband died on 22.12.2023, leaving behind the petitioner as his sole legal heir.
Therefore, the petitioner herein made a representation dated 17.03.2025 to the respondents, seeking disbursement of her deceased husband's provident fund. However, till date, the said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner would submits that, it would suffice, if this Court 3/6
issues direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025, as expeditiously as possible.
5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submits that the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
