ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel/declare as void the Settlement Deed Document No.400/2016, dated 22.02.2016 registered on the file of Adyar Sub-Registrar Office, in accordance with the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, considering the petitioner representation dated 22.09.2025, within a time frame.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
