ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed seeking direction to the learned V Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the case in O.P.No.5187 of 2023, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. According to the petitioner, he filed a divorce petition against the respondent in IDOP No.5187 of 2023 and the same was taken on file on 24.11.2024. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed along with the typed set of papers would indicate that pleadings of the parties were already completed and the OP was posted for recording evidence as early as on 18.12.2024. However,

there is no progress in the case thereafter.

3 .Taking into consideration that the year of filing of O.P is 2023 and also the fact that the case was already posted for recording evidence as early as on 18.12.2024, this court is inclined to direct the learned V Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the IDOP No.5187 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
