Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to take appropriate actions on the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2025 and to pass orders thereon after conducting an enquiry as requested in the petitioner's objection letter dated 05.06.2025, within a 1/4

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to act upon the objection letter submitted by the petitioner on 05.06.2025 and thereafter, conduct an enquiry.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the patta was issued in the name of the petitioner and his wife. While doing so, patta was granted to an extent of 2443 sq.ft instead of 4028 sq.ft with respect to subject property No.1 and with respect to the subject property No.2, patta was granted to an extent of 3444 sq.ft instead of 4554 sq.ft. Under these circumstances, the petitioner submitted an application on 21.03.2025 to the respondents with a request to correct the discrepancies and to issue patta by mentioning the correct extent, in the name of the petitioner and 2/4
his wife.
4. Pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner, the second respondent directed the fourth respondent to take appropriate action. The third respondent conducted field inspection and submitted a report before the second respondent. In spite of the same, there was absolutely no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation dated 21.03.2025 made by the petitioner and pass final orders on the same, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
