ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider petitioner representation dated 16.07.2025 consequently directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to allot the Door No.4 situated in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Manalai New Town, Chennai 103.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner purchased a house property situated in Gramanatham Village No.4, comprised in S.No.323/1, Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Manali New Town, Chennai-103 from one Thavamani in the year 2013. In the year 2019, the petitioner's and other 70 persons house were demolished by the respondents. Such being the position, the respondents allotted house for 29 persons who are the erstwhile owners. But the petitioner's name was left in the list prepared by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation on 16.07.2025 to the respondents to allot the house for her and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents, notice to them is dispensed with.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
