This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to expedite the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.1890 of 2020 dated 31.12.2020, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents Police submitted that the investigation in this case is under progress and the second respondent Police will be able to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of two months.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the 2nd respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1890 of 2020 within a period of two months from today.
