ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 15.04.2025 given by the petitioner.

2.The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that despite proceedings dated 18.08.2020 passed by the respondents in his favour for issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, the petitioner has not been issued patta till date. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon an order dated 24.11.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No.43997 of 2025 in the case of A.Kirthivasan vs. The Government of Tamil Nadu and others, involving a neighbouring property which was the subject mater of the proceedings dated 18.08.2020 and submits that issuance of the patta for A.Kirthivasan is under consideration by the respondents and in due course, the same will be issued. Learned counsel for the petitioner therefore submits that similarly the petitioner should also be issued patta for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in

accordance with the proceedings dated 18.08.2020 passed by the respondent. The petitioner had given a representation dated 15.04.2025 for issuance of patta in his name prior to the filing of this writ petition. Only due to the fact that the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law by the respondents and final orders passed, after giving due consideration to the proceedings dated 18.08.2020 passed by the respondents, referred to supra as well as the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No.43997 of 2025 in the case of A.Kirthivasan vs. The Government of Tamil Nadu and others.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in his favour for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the proceedings dated 18.08.2020 issued by the Tahsildar (third respondent) in favour of the petitioner for the grant of patta in his favour and also the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No.43997 of 2025 in the case of A.Kirthivasan vs. The

Government of Tamil Nadu and others, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
