O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.4, Tiruppur, to expedite the proceedings in C.C.No.510 of 2023 and conclude the same within a time frame.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an accused, facing trial in C.C.No.510 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.4, Tiruppur, for the offence under Section 381 of 1/4

IPC. He would further submit that the case is pending from the year 2023. For the last two years, the case was posted for several hearings for the appearance of L.W.1/de facto complainant. Though the de facto complainant is residing in the same address, the respondent police had not produced him and thereby, there is a delay in the trial proceedings.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that there are totally 8 witnesses in this case out of whom, L.W.1 and L.W.6 were already examined as P.W.1 and P.W.2 respectively. The case now stands posted to 31.12.2025, for examination of further witnesses. He would further submit that he would ensure that the further witnesses are produced at the earliest.

4. In such view of the matter, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.510 of 2023, as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of four months from 31.12.2025.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
