The petitioner who was apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC, in Crime No.18 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. Earlier this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.2088 of 2025 dated 25.02.2025. However, without complying with the conditions therein, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the second anticipatory bail petition is not maintainable. However, this Court is inclined to extend the time for further period of two weeks to comply with the said conditions imposed on the petitioner by this Court. The petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as cost to the "District Legal Service Authority, Tiruvannamalai District" and on such payment, the petitioner is directed to comply with the conditions as ordered by this Court, within a period of two weeks from the date on which the order copy made ready. Failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand automatically dismissed.
