This writ petition has been filed seeking for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 03.04.2025 made by the petitioner, wherein the 2/4
petitioner is seeking to cancel the patta issued by the third respondent in favour of respondents 4 to 8 with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 4 to 8 managed to obtain joint patta for the property belonging to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 03.04.2025 seeking for cancellation of the joint patta that was issued in the name of the respondents 4 to 8. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 03.04.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the respondents 4 to 8. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. N.ANAND VENKATESH, J 3/4
