ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (in short "the Act") for appointment of a sole arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute between the parties arising out of a loan agreement dated 01.04.2021.

gya 2.When the matter came up for hearing on 05.01.2026, this Court passed the following order:

"When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the matter has already been settled between the parties before the Lok Adalat. The Lok Adalat award dated 13.12.2025 was also placed before this Court. A copy has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks for some to take instructions.

2. Post this case for hearing on 19.01.2026." 3.When the matter was again listed for hearing on 19.01.2026, the following order was passed by this Court:

"The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that as per the settlement terms arrived at between the parties, the amount has to be settled by the respondent on or before 16.01.2026. However, due to circumstances beyond the control of the respondent, extension of time is sought for to settle the amount. Since the settlement was arrived at between the parties in the Lok Adalat, the time is extended for settlement up to 05.02.2026.

2. Post this petition under the caption for "recording compromise" on 09.02.2026."

4.When the case was taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the respondents filed typed set of documents and it is seen that the dispute between the parties have been settled and the settlement amount has also been paid by the respondents to the petitioner before the Lok Adalat.
