ORDER

This application has been filed seeking to permit the applicant/4th defendant namely Murali Rangarajan, to file proof affidavit and adduce evidence through video conferencing.

2.According to the applicant, he is the 4th defendant in the main suit and the Testamentary Original Suit has been filed for grant of Letters of Administration in respect of the registered Will dated 14.08.2000 executed by his father namely Mr.T.V.Rangarajan. The applicant is one of the beneficiary of the said Will. He has to adduce evidence in respect of the Will dated 14.08.2000 in the original proceedings. However, the applicant is a senior citizen and he is residing in USA and due to his medical condition, he is unable to travel from USA to India. Therefore, he filed the present application to permit him to adduce evidence through Video Conferencing. 3.The learned counsel for the respondents/defendants made an objection on the ground that the applicant is trying to examine himself as a witness

without following the Video Conferencing Rules and apart from that they have no objection.

4.Considering the nature of application and the reasons stated therein, it is appropriate to allow this application. Accordingly, this application is allowed and the applicant is permitted to adduce evidence through Video Conferencing subject to the Rules framed in this regard.

5.Post the matter before the learned Master on 17.03.2026, for recording evidence.
