ORDER
The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to forthwith consider and pass orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 20.09.2023, after affording a reasonable opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The case of the petitioner is that one Sakarapandi Naidu had purchased twelve items of properties through Court Auction Sale in O.S.No.185 of 1955 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Kallakurichi. Thereafter, the grand daughters of Sakarapandi Naidu executed a Registered General Power of Attorney in favour of one E.Gopi to deal with the properties in S.Nos.76/1, 306/11, 312/5, 288/7B and 340/1 and through the said E.Gopi, the petitioner has purchased the said five items of the properties. This being the case, the officers of Sub-Collector 2/6
(Stamps), Cuddalore visited the properties purchased by the petitioner and informed that there exist a compound wall in S.No.340/1, which belongs to the Public Works Department and issued a proceedings dated 30.12.2022 to appear for enquiry. Challenging the said proceedings, the petitioner along with co-purchaser filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.747 of 2023, which was disposed on 10.01.2023. 3.1. Pursuant to the order of this Court, the second respondent passed an order dated 05.06.2023. Against which, the petitioner preferred an appeal dated 20.09.2023 before the first respondent. However, the said appeal was kept pending, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 20.09.2023.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's appeal dated 20.09.2023 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 20.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 4/6
No costs.
