Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2025 and to forthwith lock and seal and demolish the unauthorised structures comprised in Door No.137/2 and 3, Royapettah High Road (Thiru Vi. Ka. Road), Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004 in accordance with the order of this Court in W.P.Nos.4324 of 2025 dated 26.03.2025 and in W.P.No.23266 of 2025 dated 26.06.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We find that the petition, in essence, is based on allegation that the order of this court is not being complied with and there is willful disobedience.

If that be so, this can be dealt with in contempt jurisdiction and repeated orders are not required to be passed in successive petitions issuing same direction time and again. Writ petition is dismissed with liberty to file contempt petition. There shall be no order as to costs. WMP No No.46621 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is allowed subject to payment of separate court fee within two weeks, failing which this order shall be made applicable only to the first petitioner.
