ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 5 to return back all the original certificates and documents collected from the petitioner during her Post graduation admission along with her Post Graduate degree certificate, transfer certificate and conduct certificate, within the time limit prescribed by this Court.

Heard Mr.M.Vijaya Ragavan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Tippu Sultan, learned Government Advocate for respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that she joined the PG Course in MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the non-service category at the Government Stanley Medical College and completed the course in the year 2023. The petitioner also executed a bond for a sum of Rs.40,00,000/- undertaking that she will render service for two years period after the completion of the PG Course. 4.
The petitioner filed WP No.4595 of 2025 for a direction to set off the period served during the COVID duty against her bond period and to return back the original certificates. This writ petition came to be allowed by this Court by an order dated 26.02.2024. 5.
Since the above order was not complied with, the petitioner filed a contempt Petition in Cont P No.2228 of 2024. The Department also filed a Review in Rev.A No.47 of 2025. All these petitions were disposed of by an order dated 21.03.2025 and the Review application filed by the Department was allowed.

In the meantime, GO MS.No.351 dated 27.10.2023 came to be issued whereby the two years bond period was reduced to one year.

Even after the Review application was allowed by this Court, the petitioner has sent two representations and the same did not evoke any response and no posting orders were given to the petitioner. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that after the review application was allowed by this Court, the petitioner has to necessarily serve the one year bond period. A period of eight months is now left and the petitioner will have to necessarily serve during this eight months before seeking for return of the original documents. 9.
In the considered view of this Court, the order was passed in the review application on 21.03.2025. For reasons best known to the respondents, no posting order has been given till now and as a result, eight months have already lapsed. Out of the one year bond
period, eight months have already lapsed and what is left is only four months and it will come to an end on 21.03.2026. Either the petitioner must be immediately issued posting orders to work for the remaining four months until 21.03.2026 or if the same is not done, on the expiry of the date on 21.03.2026, the petitioner will be entitled to get back all the original certificates from the 5th respondent college. 10.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
