ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.09.2025, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the cancellation of the patta that stands in the name of the 4th respondent. 2.Heard Mr.E.Yuvarani, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had purchased the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 01.11.2006 registered as

3/6 Document No.2410 of 2006. The petitioner also submitted an application seeking for issuance of patta in her name. However, the patta has been wrongly issued in favour of the 4th respondent, who according to the petitioner, does not have any right, title or interest over the property. In view of the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.09.2025 to the 2 nd respondent, seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.09.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the 4th respondent and final orders shall be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
