ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned III Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to execute the Non Bailable Warrant issued as against the respondent pursuant to the final order dated 03.06.2025, made in M.P.No.80 of 2025 in M.C.No.287 of 2006, by the learned III Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai.

2/3 2.Mr.R.Krishnamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners through video conferencing would submit that the respondent is a convict and the Trial Court has issued the warrant of arrest against him. However, he has not surrendered.

3.Mr.V.Jayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent is the husband of the first petitioner; the issue arises out of a matrimonial dispute; and the respondent undertakes to surrender before the Court concerned within a period of two (2) weeks. 4.Recording the undertaking given by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with a direction to the respondent to surrender within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai and recall the warrant. On failure, the learned Judge shall initiate steps for execution of the warrant.
