Prayer: This Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for committing contempt of court by disobeying the order passed by the II Additional Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Act, Chennai, dated 27.12.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.12135 of 2024. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his disobedience of the order passed by the learned II Additional Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Act, Chennai, dated 27.12.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.12135 of 2024.

Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the learned Special Public Prosecutor for NCB Cases appearing for the respondent would submit that in compliance of the order dated 27.12.2024, the respondent produced the details before the learned II Additional Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Act, Chennai.

We have perused the order dated 27.12.2024 passed by II Additional Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Act, Chennai, which reveal that there is no time limit given by the learned II Additional Special Judge. However, it is reported that as per the order dated 27.12.2024 the respondent has produced the details before Court, which passed the order under contempt. Therefore We do not find any contempt alleged to have been committed by the respondent. 2 / 4

In view of the above, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court below, which passed the order under contempt.
