ORDER

This miscellaneous petition is filed to implead the proposed respondents 5 to 8 as respondents 5 to 8 in W.P.No.21726 of 2014.

2. The petitioner by the affidavit filed in support of the petition submits that on liquidation of the second respondent Society, the assets and liabilities of the said Society have vested with the 4th respondent who is the Registrar of Societies under the Act. Therefore, the said authority cannot claim that since,

the respondent Society has been liquidated, the assets and liabilities would stand extinguished and thus, the writ petition would become infructuous.

3. As the petitioner by his own assertion in the affidavit had claimed that the 4th respondent is the responsible authority to deal with the assets and liabilities of the Society which has been dissolved vide proceedings dated 06.03.2018, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to implead the proposed respondents who exist and function under the 4th respondent.

4. In view of the above, the miscellaneous petition is dismissed. No costs. 16-04-2026 (1⁄2) Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MSV To
