The petitioner, who is the wife of detenue, namely, Surya, S/o.Sekar seeks emergency leave on the ground that Ear Piercing ceremony is scheduled to the Convict's daughter, aged about 4 years. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2025 to the respondents and the same has not been considered till now. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. On perusal of the entire records, it is seen that the Convict has not even completed the sentence for 2 years. There is no rule provided for granting emergency leave for ear piercing ceremony. Be that as it may, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2025 to the respondents, seeking emergency leave for her husband.
