The petitioner seeks production of her daughter aged about 22 years.
2. According to the petitioner, her daughter went missing on 03.10.2025 from her house. Though a complaint has been given in this regard and an FIR has also been registered in Crime No.400 of 2025 on 03.10.2025 under Woman Missing, Police has not secured her daughter.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's daughter, who is aged about 22 years appeared before the respondent Police and gave a statement to the effect that she had married the 3rd respondent on her own and she was not inclined to go with her parents. The statement recorded by the Police has been produced before this Court.
4. As the petitioner's daughter is aged 22 years and she married the 3rd respondent on her own, we find that there is no illegal detention. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
