This application has been filed by the applicants to condone the delay of 62 days in filing the written statement of defendants 1 to 3 in C.S.No.248 of 2023.

2. According to the applicants, they are the defendants in the main Suit and due to the ill health of the father of the first defendant, they are unable to give instruction to their counsel to file a written statement, and thereby, there is a delay of 62 days in filing the written statement. Therefore, they filed this application.

3. The other side has not seriously objected.

4.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit and the facts and circumstances of the case, and in order to give a fair chance to the applicants, it is appropriate to allow this application.

5. Accordingly, this application is allowed.

The written statement is taken on file.
