Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner tendered apology for producing the victim in this case before this Court on the last hearing on 02.01.2026. He also submitted that the victim and her mother had voluntarily appeared before this Court in order to save the petitioner herein, who is the husband of the victim's mother; that due to the pressure made by the victim's mother, he had represented and sailed along with them before this Court, hence tendered apology for the same and also filed an affidavit to that effect. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the above, this Court accepts the apology tendered by the learned counsel for the petitioner and based on the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
