ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner, seeking survey of subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Ms.Dhanalakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the fourth respondent. 2/5

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of sale deed dated 07.05.2008, registered as Doc.No.3354 of 2008. The petitioner submitted an application on 29.03.2025 to the second respondent, after paying necessary charges for survey of the property and for fixing the boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, subsequent representations were made, but the same also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second and third respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 29.03.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title documents relied upon by the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
