ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 1 st respondent herein, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2025 and to grant him enhanced compensation and solatium in respect of the left out 1043 square metres of lands out of the total 1214 square metres, acquired by the Government.
2.Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the petitioner made a representation dated 19.08.2025 to the 1 st respondent, requesting to grant enhanced compensation and solatium in respect of the remaining 1043 square meteres of land out of 1241 square meters, acquired by the Government for laying Chennai-Thirupathi Highway in the year 2011. 5.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1 st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
