O R D E R

Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the statutory Appeal dated 04.6.2019 filed by the petitioner against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 2.4.2019 in Letter No.11302/B5/2018 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/6

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as against the order passed by the 2nd respondent declaring the Petitioner's Settlement Deed and Consent Deed as "null and void", the petitioner preferred an Appeal before the 1st respondent on 04.06.2019 in Letter No.11302/B5/2018. But the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the 1st respondent would dispose and pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a time stipulated by this Court.

5.Heard both sides. Perused the records.

6. In view of the limited scope of relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass orders on the Appeal filed by the petitioner on 02.04.2019 in Letter No.11302/B5/2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period 3/6

of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
