ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai, to accept the deposit of 15% of the compensation amount in S.T.C.No.7275 of 2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.6094 of

2/4 2025, dated 10.07.2025, had extended the time and granted four weeks for payment of 15% of the compensation amount to the credit of S.T.C.No.7275 of 2022 from the date of that order; due to the illness of the petitioner, she was unable to deposit the same within the stipulated time; hence, the present petition has been filed. He further submitted that within a period of two (2) weeks, she will deposit the amount.

3.Recording the said submission, time granted by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, vide order dated 10.07.2025, is further extended by two (2) weeks from today.
