for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to acknowledge and accept the petitioner's SSLC Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of Government Examinations, as valid proof of educational qualification, and consequently permit the petitioner to participate in the further stages of selection for the post of Driver-cumConductor in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram Division).

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to accept the SSLC certificate produced by the petitioner during the selection process for the post of Driver-cum-Conductor in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Villupuram Division.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first and second respondents. Perused the materials available on record.
3.The petitioner had completed SSLC by privately and had passed the examination. While being so, the third respondent issued a notification dated 20.03.2025 calling for applications to the post of Driver-cum-Conductor. The petitioner, being eligible, applied for the post by uploading his Secondary School Leaving Certificate, which was accepted by the respondents. Further, he was provisionally admitted to the written examination and was qualified for the interview. However, during certificate verification, the SSLC certificate produced by the petitioner was objected by the respondents. 4.A perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner had appeared privately for the SSLC examination and upon passing, was duly issued the
certificate.
5.In view of the above, there is absolutely no impediment for the respondents to accept the petitioner's SSLC certificate, subject to its genuineness, for the purpose of the selection process to the post of Driver-cumConductor in the respondent corporation. 6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
