ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 08.10.2025 to issue death certificate of petitioner mother Vasanthi who died on 29.12.2023.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's mother died on 29.12.2023. For issuance of death certificate, the petitioner made a representation on 08.10.2025 and till date, no order is passed. Hence, the

present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation was forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer, and the same will be considered and orders will be passed by the said RDO within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner and the respondent shall ensure the issuance of death certificate to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
