India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to cancel the Patta No.1304in S.No.114/10A issued on 13.08.2025 to and in favour of sixth respondent, an extent of 56 cents, situated at Vedanginallur Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District and issue patta in the petitioner's name by considering petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2025 and 09.10.2025. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandmus directing the second respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 06.10.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the sixth respondent for the subject property.

2. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 27.10.2025, this Court passed the following order:

"Learned counsel for petitioner claims that an appeal has been filed against the proceedings dated 04.05.2024, however, copy of the proceedings is not available in the typed-set of papers. Hence, learned counsel for petitioner is directed to produce the copy of the proceedings dated 04.05.2024. In the mean time, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 shall verify as to whether any order has been passed on 04.05.2024 cancelling the patta.

Post this writ petition under the caption 'Adjourned Admission' on 03.11.2025."

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the fourth respondent has already issued notice to the petitioner and respondents 5 and 6 and enquiry has been posted on 07.11.2025 at 03.00 p.m. The copy of the summons has also been placed before this Court.

4. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the parties to appear before the fourth respondent on 07.11.2025 and after enquiry, the report shall be placed before the third respondent and thereafter, the third respondent shall pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law. The entire process shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
