ORDER
Heard Mr. V.Nithyanandam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Abdul Mubeen, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that earlier the petitioner has approached this Court in W.P.No.21967 of 2025 seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's representation with regard to election, and this Court by order dated 25/8/2025 directed the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 within a period of four weeks.
3.It is the case of the petitioner that in furtherance of the said order, the petitioner has given yet another representation dated 03.10.2025 seeking for amending the proforma as "election" instead of "selection". 4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent contended that the petitioner claimed under registered Settlement Deeds dated 09.04.1955 and 13.05.1955 in the office of the Sub Registrar, Arakkonam. Both these documents are not enclosed along with the representation dated 03.10.2025, in order to assert the entitlement of the petitioner with regard to the amendment of proforma. Unless the documents are produced, the request of the petitioner cannot be addressed.
5.In the light of the above, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the petitioner to furnish certified copies of the Settlement Deeds dated 09.04.1955 and 13.05.1955, to the respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2025 on merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that this order has not dealt with the merits or the entitlement of the petitioner's claim for amendment of proforma.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 12-11-2025 mps Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes To 1.The Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Rep. By Its Chief Executive Officer, No.1, Jaffer Syrang Street, Chennai-600 001.
