The petitioner herein, who is an accused in S.C.No.141 of 2022 pending on the file of the Court of Sessions, Magalir Needhi Mandram (Fast 1/4

Track Mahila Court), Tiruppur, had jumped bail on 27.12.2024. He was secured on execution of a non-bailable warrant pursuant to the order dated 08.05.2025. He now seeks bail, stating that he has been in prison since 08.05.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the case is now at the stage of final arguments, and that upon conclusion of the arguments, the judgment is likely to be delivered shortly.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and the stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 30.10.2025 Vv 2/4
