ORDER
The petitioners herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 read with Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 in Crime No.290 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.27785 of 2025 by order dated 13.10.2025 on the ground that the petitioner has involved in two previous cases, similar in nature.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the co-accused were already released on bail. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. Considering the fact that the huge quantity of 5,000 kgs of PDS has been seized and the petitioner is the main accused and that he has involved in two previous cases, and since there is no change in circumstances established 2/5
before this Court to revisit the earlier order, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 11.11.2025 drl To
