ORDER

Today, this case is listed under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. On 30.10.2025, Crl.O.P.No.29582 of 2025 was listed as item

no.45 and it was allowed. However, after the matter was allowed, the learned counsel for the petitioner in item no.43 intervened and made a mention mistakenly that in item no.45 the District concerned in the matter is Ariyalur and not Perambalur as typed in the petition. In view of the wrong submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in item no.43, the order dated 30.10.2025 was typed by changing the District as Ariyalur instead of Perambalur. Since it was subsequently found out that the counsel for the petitioner in item no.43 had erroneously mentioned his item number as 45, this matter is listed today, as mentioned in the opening paragraph.

3. In view of the above, the entire prayer portion of the order, dated 30.10.2025 shall stand substituted as under:

"Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita praying to direct the Special Court for Scheduled Castes and

Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act cases, Perambalur District to accept the surrender of the petitioner herein concerned in Crime No.237 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of the Police, Perambalur Rural Police Station, Perambalur District and consider the bail petition on the same day itself."

4. Likewise, paragraph no.2 of the said order shall stand deleted and paragraph nos.3 and 4 of the said order shall now read as paragraph nos.2 and 3 respectively.

5. Registry is directed to incorporate the above changes in the order dated 30.10.2025 and issue fresh order copy.
