(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This is the appeal filed by the State against the judgment of acquittal. The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 301 days in filing the appeal.

Notice served on the sole respondent and he also appeared before this Court in person. Further he has been informed about his right to appoint a legal aid counsel on his behalf, for which, he stated that he can engage a counsel and sought time for the same.

Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this miscellaneous petition, the delay is condoned. If any counsel files vakalat for the respondent, print the name of the counsel, or else print the name of the respondent and post the appeal after four weeks.
