ORDER

(made by N.Sathish Kumar, J.) The present writ petition (criminal) has been filed directing the respondents to grant emergency leave for six days without escort to the detenu Muthupandi, S/o.Sekar, aged about 24 years, Convict No.10707, detained at the Central Prison, Puzhal-1, Chennai. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that his son is in confinement for nearly two years; in order to take treatment for his ailments and to mobilize funds for his medical treatment with the help of his son, he has given representation dated 16.10.2025 to the respondents to grant six days emergency leave without escort; since his representation has not been considered so far, he has preferred the present petition.

In view of the limited nature of the relief sought in this petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass orders on merits within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of.
