ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC in Crime No.78 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The earlier anticipatory bail application of the petitioners were dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 07.10.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.21846 of 2025. This Court after considering the merits of the claim of the petition anticipatory bail dismissed on the following reasons:- "6. I have considered the submissions made on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, grave nature of offence and taking note of the fact that the investigation of this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners"

8. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed."

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner relying on the TSLR patta stating that even prior to 2018, the name of the Chakkubai was found in the TSLR Register. Based on the same, he has received only Patta and he has not committed any alteration or issued direction to change the existing TSLR Register. Hence, he prays anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

However, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and reported that the old TSLR Register which reveals that while the 1st petitioner was working as Tahsildar, and 2nd petitioner his associate after deleting the name of the original owner J.Vijayalakshmi and replace with the name of one Chakkubai and he has also forged the signature in the TSLR Register.

5. I have also gone through the available documents though it is stated that the petitioner was issued the Patta based on the existing TSLR Register. However, in the TSLR Register produced by the learned Government Advocate revealed that the name of J.Vijayalakshmi was deleted and the name of Chakkubai was inserted without any reason assigned. Further, before this Court also the petitioner claims that he has not issued the Patta and he is only followed the existing TSLR Register and the same is not having any merits. Hence, this 3/5

petition is liable to be dismissed.
