The petitioner herein apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 308(4) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.365 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks 1/5

bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and his business partners and snatched Rs.73,000/- from the defacto complainant and Rs.9,000/- from one Govindaraj @ Rs.15,000/- from one Lakshmanan and escaped from the place of occurrence. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the 2/5

petitioner is having five previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
