ORDER

This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed to extend the time for complying with Condition No.1, requiring the petitioner tenant to deposit the arrears of rent of Rs.4,32,200/- for the period from 14.01.2010 to 14.06.2024 and subsequent arrears.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that arrears of rent up to 14.06.2024 have been deposited. However, time is sought to comply with the condition relating to the subsequent arrears, which are required to be paid on or before 10.09.2025. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the arrears amount to be paid is ready and seeks one week time to deposit the same.

3. Mr.N.Suresh, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would fairly submit that the petitioner can be given one indulgence.

4. In view of the above, one week time is granted to the petitioner to deposit the entire arrears as on date. The petitioner shall deposit the arrears from 14.06.2024 up to 31.01.2025 on or before 09.01.2026.

5. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of this petition and I also heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit.
