ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2025 and thereby issue a no objection certificate in respect of the property in S.No.68/3A, Parameshwaranallur Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District has not a wakf property.

2. Heard Mr.Y.Kajanavas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Sai Krishnan, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent.

Mr.Y.Kajanavas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would fairly submit that though the prayer in this writ petition is only for issuing 'No objection certificate' in respect of property comprised in S.No.68/3A, Parameshwaranallur Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District has not been a wakf property, today, the learned counsel has received the typed set from the respondent which

encloses the proforma dated 03.03.1956 wherein the subject property is mentioned in the said proforma, though the larger S.No.68/3 is mentioned. The learned counsel therefore seeks liberty to move to the learned Tribunal under Section 83 of the Wakf Act.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to move appropriate application under Section 83 of the Wakf Act, 1995 before the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board. No costs.

5. Mr.Y.Kajanavas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also requested for a certified clean copy of the proforma dated 03.03.1956, since the copy is not very legible.
