The petitioner herein apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 326(a), 303(2) of BNS, in Crime No.286 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 03.10.2025, the petitioner was illegally quarrying the sand from the lake. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, petitioner has no previous cases.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and the petitioner involved in damaging ecology by illegal quarrying, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4
