ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta that stands in the name of the fourth respondent with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.D.Babu Varadharajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The specific case of the petitioner is that, the patta stands in the name 2/8
of the fourth respondent. However, there is not even a scrap of paper to show that the petitioner has made any representation or filed an appeal before the concerned authority, seeking for cancellation of the patta that stands in the name of the fourth respondent. Under such circumstances, there is no question of issuing a mandamus in favour of the petitioner.
4. In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to file an appeal before the concerned authority seeking for cancellation of patta. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition.
