ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 11.07.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking survey of the subject property and for grant of separate subdivision patta.

2. Heard Mr.M.Vignesh, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming to be the absolute owner of the subject property under a partition deed dated 12.10.2009 registered as document No.2333/2009. The petitioner submitted an online application on 11.07.2025 before the second respondent for survey of the property, sub-division of the same and for issuance of separate patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 11.07.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties, notice shall be issued to them before passing final orders.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
