ORDER

This writ of Habeas Corpus has been filed to produce the minor girl, namely, Bharani, aged 17 years, before this Court.

2. The petitioner is the father of the said minor girl. According to the petitioner, his daughter, aged about 17 years, has been missing from their residence since 01.10.2025. In this connection, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent police. Since no effective steps were taken by the respondent police to secure his daughter, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.103 of 2025 has been registered for "girl missing". It is further submitted that the said girl, aged about 17 years, has eloped with the fourth respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the third respondent police investigate the matter, secure the minor girl and produce her before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate expeditiously.

5. With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dispose of.
