ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner dated 27.09.2025, wherein the petitioner has sought for making corrections in the Town Survey Land Register (TSLR) and also in the other relevant documents.

2. Heard Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he had purchased the subject property by virtue of registered sale deed dated 05.06.1995, registered as Doc.No.1875/1995. In the TSLR, the extent has been mentioned as 54 ares and 46 sq.mtrs., which comes to approximately 1.34 acres. However, the total extent that was purchased by the petitioner is 1.44 acres.

4. In such circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.09.2025 along with all the relevant documents seeking for effecting changes in the TSLR with reference to total extent of the property. Since the same was not acted upon by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 27.09.2025 and necessary orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/ 5

6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
