consider the claim of the petitioner Appointment as Junior Assistant or any other post in the basic services like Forest Watcher on Compassionate Grounds in light of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No. 31276 of 2016 order dated 08.09.2016 and W.P(MD).No. 22277 of 2019 order dated 11.11.2019.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate ground.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.The petitioner's father died on 12.12.2012 while he was working as an Office Assistant in the District Forest Office, Cuddalore Division, Cuddalore. Immediately, after his death, the petitioner submitted an application seeking appointment on compassionate ground on 04.06.2013. However, till date, the application submitted by the petitioner has not been considered.

4.On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application for appointment on compassionate ground was considered and placed at serial No.194(a). It was further submitted that the petitioner would be considered for appointment on compassionate grounds as and when a suitable vacancy arises.

5.In view of the above submission, the first respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground as and when a suitable vacancy arises, in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order to costs.
