ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends the arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 329(4) of BNS and Section 3 of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992, in Crime No.522 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with other accused, trespassed into the defacto complainant's office and damaged the CCTV camera, cable wire and other articles worth approximately Rs.1,00,000/-. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent reported that the FIR indicates the petitioner and other accused are visible in the

CCTV footage and the value of the damaged property is Rs.1,00,000/-. He submitted that the investigation is pending, and no arrests have been made. He further submitted that there are six previous cases were pending against this petitioner.

5.Considering the petitioner's involvement in damaging the property, also involved in six previous cases, and considering the value of the damaged property, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 31-10-2025 gbi Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
